Dada's Home!

For the last few days, Brad has been gone with friends snowmobiling up north and it has been a long few days. Sabrina (and I) missed him lots and would go to the door all the time saying "dada?" and then making her I dont know sign. It was hard to see her do this over and over konwing she doesn't understand what "He'll be home in a few days" means, she just knows he's gone! During that time Sabrina has also gotten 2 new teeth and been a little crabby as they have impacted her sleep. We spent alot of time looking for distractions: Lots of playing dollies, reading books and playing on her swingset.

Sabrina has also been working on transitioning from a bottle with formula to milk in a sippy...finally in the last couple of days she seems to have mastered it. Food however, has never been a battle, she really is lovin macaroni as you can see :)
Today Dada finally got home and Sabrina could not be more happy. They spent some good quality time together reading. They first read Dada's choice which was catching up on 4 days of newspapers, then they read Sabrinas choice which was Opposites at the zoo.
I think all in all they were both happy just to spend time together!

Check out the headline on the newspaper Brad is reading and imagine a scary movie soundtrack in the background.

I just realized how creepy my last comment was. I thought it was funny until I imagined you reading it Lindsey! :)

Sorry bout that.

PS. Riley Post and Michelle had a baby this morning: Sadie Alexandra. It's their second daughter and they're thankful he was home from Iraq in time to be there for the birth. He goes back next week.
