Indy

This post has been long in coming....I have tried to get these pics up a few times now and because of issues with both our computer and blogger, it hasn't happened. However, it was ay too great a weekend to just skip over so finally, here it is!!!

We were invited to spend some time down in Indianapolis (the first week in April) visiting Brad's parents and celebrating my birthday. We had SO much fun! Brad and I were treated to two dinners alone (heavenly...both the food and the peace and quiet!)while the kids got to play with Grammee and Grampee! We also got to go to the awesome Children's Museum (If you are ever in the area...it's a must! Really might be worth the 4 hour trip for a long weekend!), do a little shopping, watch State win, eat a little cake and ice cream, visit with the Nobles, and do a little swimming! It was a packed few days and the kids soaked up every minute of it! Sabrina still brings up the museum at least every other day! Here are few of the highlights:
This Museum was awesome, so much to do...we found the letters of Sabrina's name on the giant magnet board.

The sandplay area

Anabelle, Gramee and Grampee in the infant area

Can you say, "Busted?"

The Chihuley Glass art Exhibit...very cool, the kids got to make their own glass sculptures. Sabrina's personality really shone through, she first worked against an older boy who took out every piece she put in. Then a little later, she started telling the oler kids (7-8 year olds) how to do it and where they should put their pieces.

Thanks again for a great weekend mom and dad! It was the perfect way to spend the weekend!

Looks like a very fun museum. We have talked about going to Indy; maybe we will have to go that museum!

we live within walking distance of the museum - so needless to say we are there all the time! It is pretty awesome!
