Our Daughter: the Woodchuck

So yesterday, Brad went in to Sabrina's room to get her up from her nap and she had black specks all over her face. Brad had no idea what they were until he looked down at the edge of the crib. Our sweet girl is using her new bottom teeth to chew on the side of the crib! It's not pretty. Don't worry, it's not lead paint...but it is a problem! We cant use plastic rail protectors because the sides of the crib are curved...we are at a loss. Any ideas anyone?

Have you checked with Sweet Dreams to see if that crib manufacturer makes teething rails?? That's a bummer to wreck the crib!! What if you put something yucky tasting on the rail so when she went for it it would taste bad? ??
Or put a teething ring in her crib with her so maybe she'd grab that instead?
Good Luck! She sure is cute! :)

Hi Guys, you'd think as experienced parents we'd have a brilliant idea....but no. Our girls never were big woodchucks :) What about a piece of plexiglass you could screw to the edges just on the inside? When she got top teeth it wouldn't help the top of the railing but maybe she'd be over the thrill of it by then. I know you also don't want nail holes or screw holes but it can't be worse then gnaw marks all over :) We still think she is adorable though!!!
