Today was the beginning of the costume wearing fun of the next few days...today Sabrina got to wear her costume at dance class and then we went to a Halloween Party at the VanHuis home. Heidi hosted such a fun party for the kids and adults with great food and a candy hunt for the kids! It was so cute to see all the kids dressed up and we actually got a pic of all of them sitting together (except Sophia who was sleeping) and with them all looking! (sadly, the only one of mine that wasnt blurry kinda cuts off Greyson, Jackson and Sam, sorry guys!)
Hunting for loot!
Anabelle lovin her sucker! Sisses stick together! :)
The other morning, my mom, sister Jamie (who is now a proud fur parent I might add), and the girls and I went out for lunch at Cranes and then apple picking in preparation for applesauce making tommorrow! After lunch we bundled up and hit the orchards for some Ida Reds and Mutzu. The girls really got into it grabbing as many as they could and tossing them into the bag. It was nice that the trees were so full because the girls could easily reach on their own! We couldnt get over how beautiful the Ida reds were, they were huge, red and perfect! Thruthfully, this was the first time I'd ever went and picked my own apples and I would definately do it again. I can't wait to make sauce tommorrow! Here is a video of Jay and Anabelle picking together. She laughed like this with each apple we picked! TOo funny! Who knew how much fun this would be to her?
And we're back! For a bit there we had "misplaced" the charger for our camera leaving me without much to blog with! We're back in business now though after a trip to best buy for a new charger! We've been busy with lots of new fall activities that include another semester of Kindermusik and Dance class for Sabrina! Our weeks seem to fly by September totally disappeared! We are looking ahead to some fun fall activites that we'll be sure to post pics of...but for now, heres a video of Sabrina bustin a move to the Peanut Butter Jelly song :)
Brad and Lindsey were married in September, 2001. Brad works in the construction field. Lindsey works as a full time mom of Sabrina and Anabelle and works at a local school and as a hobbiest photographer. Sabrina was born December, 2006 and from day one has been full of energy and mischief! She keeps us on our toes and never ceases to amaze us! Anabelle joined the family in June of 2008 and has such a quiet sweetness about her. But watch out, we don't call her sugar and spice for nothing! She definitely can hold her own and has a will that will serve her well as she gets older! We are currently waiting on more pink to enter our home in September! We can't wait to meet our newest member of the family and see what God has in store for her!
